A real Unix shell account, run the old way: SSH access to a properly maintained box, classic resource plans instead of unlimited-everything, and room to run the things that are supposed to stay running.

What you get

• SSH access to a real Unix shell
• Ability to build and run IRC bots (eggdrop) and bouncer daemons (ZNC) that stay running in the background
• Classic command-line tools: irssi, mutt, lynx, w3m, screen, tmux, build-essential, and the rest
• Optional on higher plans: a small personal website, a database, and custom domain support
• Resource quotas scaled to your plan — not unlimited resources for everyone

Invite-only

There is no open signup and no waitlist. If you're interested, ask someone who already has an account to vouch for you. That's how we keep the community sane.
